Cycling Skills Clinic
March 4, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm MSTFREE
TriCoach Colorado is hosting a free cycling skills clinic which is guaranteed to improve your bike handling skills. Everyone is invited, from beginners to advanced cyclists, triathletes, and mountain bikers.
In the clinic, we’ll have various stations set up inside the Parker Field House (yes, it’s indoors so no worries about the weather). We’ll be going over tight-turns; doing a slalom to give riders a sense of when to enter a turn; riding a straight line while reaching for bottles or looking over shoulders; wheel lifts and bunny hops to be able to avoid sudden road dangers; low touches to help riders get the feel of counter-balancing the bike; and finally we’ll have some fun games like slowest rider, last-rider standing, and if there’s time, we may even do some trash-ball.
WHO: Triathletes, Cyclists, Mountain Bikers. Beginners are highly encouraged. Riders aged 14+ are welcome. Hurry and RSVP as this is capped at 30-riders.
WHAT: For this cycling clinic, you’ll need your bike, cycling shoes, and helmet. Athletes will not be allowed to participate without a CPSC certified helmet.
