    • Weekend Preview: Championship Racing

      The Olympic Triathlon event isn’t for another week. So to hold you over, here’s the link to the USAT Age Group National Championship Olympic and Sprint distance races. So many amazing Colorado athletes are racing in Omaha this weekend, including athletes from TriBella and RMTC.

      • Athlete Safety Questioned after Participants Death

        There has been much conversation regarding athlete safety on race courses, especially cycling, in the wake of the death of athlete Michelle Walters during Ironman Boulder last weekend.

        In the wake of the crash, some have speculated on social media that the Ironman should consider closing down all of U.S. 36. Reid said he’s not sure if Colorado State Patrol would be able to implement such a closure.

        But Neal Rogers, the editor of CyclingTips and a Boulder resident who has participated in Ironman Boulder events in the past, said he’s “not sure such a closure would be practical or helpful.” Read more

            It was truly an amazing day for all.
