    • Tri Coach Tuesday: Racing In Unexpected Weather

      The weather has been crazy this Spring to say the least. Races and events postponed, sometimes more than once, due to weather conditions or the aftermath of the weather.

      In the past 10 days, both IRONMAN 70.3 St. George and IMTX both saw DNF rates over 25%. While these races are not the only ones to have been affected, they are certainly the most talked about.

      I asked local coaches Eric Kenney of EK Endurance Coaching and Mike Ricci of D3 Multisport for some advice on how to race in less than ideal conditions.

          Glassmith 2 is a local custom awards and engraving company. They are also the supplier of all the awards for IRONMAN North America.

          For the second year in a row, GS2 was granted two race entries, one for the Boulder 70.3 in June and another for IM Boulder in August. This years’ recipients wrote about “what you have done to give back to the community and why giving back is important to you as an athlete. ”
